St. Basil Malankara Catholic Mission is a part of the Syro-Malankara Catholic, Archiepiscopal Church (A Church in full communion with the Holy Father the Pope of Rome). The Mission is located in the Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston, Queens, New York for the faithful Malankarites in the Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn from Kerala, India. Major Arch Bishop Moan Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos is the Head of the Church and is considered the Catholica Bava of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thomas is the Administrator / Apostolic Visitator of the Malankara Missions of North America and Europe.
